When I left my first startup, I walked away with more than business lessons. I was left with deeper questions about money, legacy, and family:
- Why do some families build wealth that lasts for generations while others see it vanish in a single lifetime?
- What separates entrepreneurs who turn their success into legacy from those who watch it slip away?
- And most importantly, how can I help others bridge that gap for others?
Those questions became the foundation of my career in wealth management. And ultimately, they became the reason I launched Tricentennial Wealth.
From Personal Curiosity to a Bigger Mission
At first, it was personal. I wanted to figure out how to turn entrepreneurial drive and creativity into something enduring for my own family and close friends.
That curiosity led me to advanced training, including earning the Certified Private Wealth Advisor® designation, which gave me the tools to look beyond investments and dive into areas like business succession, tax efficiency, risk management, and legacy planning.
But the more I learned, the more I realized something: this knowledge shouldn’t live only in private boardrooms or with a select group of clients. These insights should be accessible, practical, and free from jargon — so that any entrepreneur or wealth builder could apply them.
Why Tricentennial Wealth
This publication is my way of opening that conversation to anyone who wants to build wealth with purpose. Each week, I’ll share insights, frameworks, and strategies designed for entrepreneurs, founders, and first-generation wealth builders.
The name Tricentennial Wealth speaks to the mindset I want to help cultivate. It’s about thinking in centuries, not decades. If you’re building wealth today, the decisions you make don’t just affect your own lifetime — they ripple across children, grandchildren, and generations you’ll never meet. Done thoughtfully, those choices can open doors of opportunity and freedom long after you’re gone.
The Goal
This isn’t about abstract theory. My aim is to strip away complexity and share what actually works — in a way you can implement, whether you’re scaling a business, managing new wealth, or just beginning to think about the legacy you want to leave.
Because wealth isn’t only about accumulation. It’s about stewardship.
And if this work helps even a handful of families shift their focus from short-term success to long-term legacy, then Tricentennial Wealth will have done its job.
